It's December 30th, and we have decided to extend our shows until the 5th of January. This is in large part due to the appealdemocrat.com light contest that we have been entered in that ends the 5th. We have found that the contest is kind of a pain to vote in and not many people take the time to register… wait for the confirmation email… then go back and vote. Thank you, though, to the 28 that have voted… As it stands we are lagging by 3. There are two houses tied at 31 votes then us at 28 votes.

Feeling kinda crumby (have a sinus infection) I grumbled when we got a knock on the door tonight thinking it was another person trying to sell us something that we didn't want or need. 2011 shopping list
WHAT!!?!?!?!?!?! 2010 is not over yet?!?!?!?!? To tell you the truth I have been thinking of next year's display since I started putting this year's up. The other thing, the lights and stuff are much cheaper right after Christmas than any other time of year!

For those of you that came by last night… Well we are up again. We had a breaker fail on us.
Up and Running
After about 3hrs of soldering the FM transmitter is up and running crystal clear on 107.5FM (Thanks to my Mother-in-law for the "early" Birthday present!). I also spent a couple hours working through an LED strand that decided that half did not want to work. I finally replaced it with a spare and I will work on that one more when I get time (hahahahahhaha)
